Trabuco first took on this position in 2009, which was when the company stood as the second largest private bank in the country. Because of the impact that Trabuco had on the overall workings of the company, the board of directors saw no one better than him to take on this position within the company. But as Trabuco was being offered his new post as chairman, his old position of being the President to Bradesco would thereon fall vacant.
