An interesting and innovative new correctional system software program is slated to make its debut. Investigator Pro 4.0 is being released by Securus Technologies. The new software program is intended to assist investigator prevent instances of crime by searching through recorded phone call banks.
The program comes with a searchable voice allowing investigators to isolate a sample from a recorded telephone call and then automatically seek a match among other calls. In a way, the software searches for matching voices in manner not unlike a program would run a search of text phrases on written documents. Obviously, in this case, the search seeks out an audio match as opposed to a text-oriented one.
A significant amount of important information can be drawn from the recorded content. Figuring out whether or not the person speaking with the inmate is a former incarcerated inmate is one possibility. There are other uses in which the software can be applied. All of these applications are able to assist investigators in a number of ways. The searchable voice feature is a huge help.
Securus Technologies is based in the state of Texas and delivers software and communications programs to both administrators and inmates alike. The company serves a significant number of prisons throughout North America.
